Take the hassle out of getting to us
If you are travelling to us by car please click on the Directions button on the Google map, and you can get a route planner done for you, to ensure you get to us with as little difficulty as possible. Alternatively if you are walking to us from the train/ bus station you can plan your route quickly and easily also.

• Walking / Taxi - from Bath Spa railway station or adjacent bus / coach stationFrom Bath Spa Railway Station turn left into Dorchester Street or from Bath Bus Station turn right into Dorchester Street: then turn right into Southgate, carry on up through Stall Street past ‘Marks and Spencers’ and through the pedestrian area into Union Street past ‘WH Smith’ and ‘The Disney Shop’ and into Old Bond Street. Just past the clothes shop ‘Gap’ turn left into Quiet Street and then first left into Queen Street, Harington’s is on your right. To walk from the train or bus station takes 10 to 15 minutes. A taxi ride takes 5-10 minutes and costs around £4.00.
• Driving - from M4 motorwayFrom the M4 Turn off at junction 18 Take the A46 to Bath. At round-a-bout turn right onto the A420 towards Bristol. Less than ½ mile take first left following Park & Ride sign. Left at T junction following Park & Ride signs. Continue past the Park & Ride and down the steep hill. At traffic lights at the bottom turn right. First left into Milsom Street. First right into Quiet Street. First left into Queen Street. Harington’s Hotel is on your right.
• Driving - from Bristol on A4 or Wells on A39From Bristol on A4 or Wells on A39 follow A4 signs to Bath or from Wells follow A39. Both routes converge at a large round-a-bout at Newton St Loe. Continue on until you approach Bath on a dual carriageway. Keep in the left hand lane and take the first left fork approximately 50 metres before the end of the dual carriageway. You will then pass the Park and Ride on your left. Continue straight on over various traffic lights always keeping in the left hand lane. Past the very large children’s play park on your left. In about 400 metres you will fork left (no choice) into Charlotte Street. Keep in the left hand lane and cross the top of Queens Square. Turn first left into Gay Street, then first right into George Street, then first right into Milsom Street. After approximately 150 metres take first right into Quiet Street. After 50 metres turn first left into Queen Street. Harington’s Hotel is then on your right.
• Driving - from Chippenham on A4From Chippenham on A4 follow the A4 signs to Bath. Continue straight on at the junction of the A4 with the A46 . Continue straight on over various traffic lights. At the mini round-a-bout take the second turn off. Straight over the next traffic lights into George Street (stay in the left hand lane). Turn left into Milsom Street immediately after the pedestrian lights. After approximately 150 metres take first right into Quiet Street. After 50 metres turn first left into Queen Street. Harington’s Hotel is then on your right.
• Driving - from Frome & Warminster on A36From Frome and Warminster on A36 continue on until you come to the mini round-a-bout at the end of Beckford Street. Take the second turn off into Bathwick Street. Continue for about 300 metres and turn left at the traffic lights at the T junction. At the mini round-a-bout take the second turn off. Straight over the next traffic lights (stay in the left hand lane). Turn left into Milsom Street immediately after the pedestrian lights. After approximately 150 metres take first right into Quiet Street. After 50 metres turn first left into Queen Street. Harington’s Hotel is then on your right.
• Driving - Car ParkingYou may stop on the double yellow lines outside of the hotel to unload your luggage then we will give you directions and a permit to park in our nearby reserved car park spaces. The car park has security cameras, is well lit and costs a maximum of £11.00 per day.
